Small victories, observations and Mk1 rear disk upgrade q's



 '81 Sciroccos have rear discs?
I'd just go with a complete 16V rear axle assembly.  That way you'd get a
hefty sway bar (if that's what you want), along with the matching stub
axles/caliper mounts and the axle will be drilled for the brake line
brackets.
  Since rear discs are really overkill anyway, even the older/small discs
from the 16v will be sufficient, performance-wise, and they'll still give
you the "look".
That's my opinion.
