ugh (tires) (rant)

so i pull off of the highway after the 'drive all over town to re-reg the
cars' fiasco, and notice something just doesnt feel right with the front
right on the rieger. pull off at a gas station real quick, inspect tire -
flat (ugh). as an added bonus, i can notice a slight bubble in the sidewall.
i'm a half block from home, so i limp it there very slowly. jack up the
corner. put air in it to find the leak. put some more air. umm, wheres the
freakin leak. inflate to 40 psi. still no leak. go to let some air out and
voala, valve stem starts leaking. it has split right where it gets inserted
in the wheel, in a perfect way such that the centrifugal force from the
wheel spinning at highway speeds lets the air out.

god im so sick of fucking with that right front wheel. its the one that was
bent originally, not to mention the hub center was machined improperly (2mm
offset from center). now its got a questionable tire and valve stem to boot.

great.
