Need to source a 11mm triple square and more explicit 3A

K then....

I'm sitting here, polishing off some Linguini Carbonara con Portabella w/
freshly grated Romano and FUMING!!!

The nice set of Allen/Torx/polygonal socket that cost me $35 DOES NOT HAVE
A 11mm triple square!!!!

Farging Bastiges!

And most of you know why I need it.

Head bolts.

Where can I get this ONE socket (preferrably in stock and in 1/2"
drive)?!?!?!?

Snap On, tool mecca, has closed it's shops doors in my town.
Sears doesn't have it.
I'm afraid to check Autozone/O'Reilly's/Advance Auto/NAPA for fear of not
finding it there and going postal on the poor cretinous people working
there.

Does ANYONE know of a place that might be in my geographical location that
would have this in stock?
My last chance to get the head off is tomorrow evening as I'm going to St.
louis to see the Blackhawks and the Blues battle it out and will leave
early Sat. and get home Sun. night.

If not, do you know where I could order it?

The BFH and 12mm are just not going to cut it.

Please? Pretty please? I'll wash and Zymol your DD, take out the garbage,
and fetch the remote for you.

But now the good news:

K.....I spent good money on a good deal on the 'tex (Now THAT'S not
something you hear often!) for a set of used ARP head studs that came
today (WEIRDEST nuts those puppies have. You can only use a 12pt socket on
them???) They look grand! No missing pieces and only $70.

The oil filter mount and breather are off and the state of the state can
be seen @:

(BTW....this is starting to cost some REAL money so I may just be slapping
on the old head on the newly rebuilt bottom end and save a new head for a
fall project. Good thing I got the ARPs!)

The bottom end will be getting the full treatment @ the machine shop and
I'll be investigating what sort of home loan I'll need to get it powder
coated (I never wanna see a rusty block again) w/ all new bearings.

But enough of my rant. Thank you for your indulgence!

Tim

After watching my newly-retired dad spend two weeks learning how to make a new
folder, it became obvious that "intuitive" mostly means "what the writer or
speaker of intuitive likes".
