16V Scirocco wiring guru needed...

  I thought I sent this out the other night, but I do not recall seeing it, 
and have not seen a response...

I am installing a cooling fan and cooling fan harness from an '87 16V into my 
16V 2.0 pickup, and I am a bit confused...  The harness I reference goes from 
a relay normally mounted under hood behind the left headlight, to the fan and 
to the sensor at the bottom of the radiator...  The harness also has two 
connections on it, both are two plug connections.  I played with this a bit, 
and was able to make both speeds of the fan work, but both times this was with 
the engine cold.  SO, since I do not have a Bentley for this car, I am 
appealing to the group of more than knowledgeable Roc Folk...  :-)  

Any ideas of how I can make this work as it would in the 'Roc?  This pickup 
does have A/C, so I would like to have highspeed blow with it on, and low 
speed on when extra cooling is needed...
