Wait, wait, wait - You Build a MegaSquirt YOURSELF?

I want to add a Lysholm charger to my car :^) If I use the current CIS
system, I'm very limited on boost. When I started looking at stand alone
systems, I thought they were going to be a huge amount of money. Then I
looked into SDS. That's the cheapest pre-built system. The basic system
isn't much different then MS, but more things are pre-programmed. You tell
them what you are running, and they map for that with enough leeway for you
to make adjustment every 250 rpm or so. About a grand for theirs. The big
advantage is that they have more things ready to go today - fuel only, fuel
and spark with your distributor, fuel and distributor-less. For me, I just
need to see if I'm really going to spend the bucks for a charger and the
other upgrades I'll need to deal with 200 ponies at my wheels. Building the
MS is my biggest block since I'm new to soldering. Luck would have it that
a friend in town who has lots of electronic skills told me last night that
he'll build it for me!
