overheating..SOLUTIONS TO THIS P.I.T.A. COOLING SYSTEM FILLER??



Having holes in the T-stat helps a little - keep in mind they're only 1/8"
or whatever. Water is not going to move very fast through those once you've
replaced the cap (not that it did before, but you get the idea...)

Fill the system through radiator upper inlet and the cylinder head and let
it run with the cap off. It may take a few tries, but it does work provided
there's nothing mechincally wrong.  Patience, Daniel-san...if you want a
16v, this is the easiest way to do it.

And, by the way, EVERYTHING is more difficult with a 16v!  :)   (can't flame
me because I have both!  nyah, nyah--  :p)
