VW layoffs & reliability

 I have noticed that all the stuff from Germany (Passats, Eurovans, German-
made older Golf and Jettas, etc...) all have fewer problems than the Mexican 
shtuff.  Of course the Passats and the Eurovans are sold rarely in comparison 
to the Jettas and Golfs....
