Question for all

We have something like this (or had) and due to lack of interest (probably
since it actually took more than one mouse click to operate) it wasn't very
successful.  I think the best way here is to create a thread for it.  What I
mean is if you have stuff for sale, make sure the subject says so, then list
the stuff you have available and where you are.  If I decide that I would
like to post stuff to the list I make sure to add that if these things are
not sold by such and such date that they will be put on Ebay then the
process is short.  If no one is interested or if you don't get serious
offers then Ebay it!  Usually get more off of Ebay for stuff anyway I just
like help people on the list first before I offer my parts to the world.

I light of recent events, both on the list and also
with a local seller here in Baltimore. I wanted to
propose a parts help list for those of us who are
willing to put up our used parts up for sale to the
rest of the list members.

I placed a wish list of parts out before this last
Cincy With the intent of buying parts from other
members facilitate by Mike who would have transported
the parts back for me. To my amazement no one answered
(having to much fun at Cincy I guess). But that is not
what I'm here to talk about.

I have bought and sold with 100% confidence from this
list members. I love the fact that as a new member of
this list I can learn, harness and be a part of such a
dedicated group of enthusiast. This is was
ppromotingme to ask the group if there is anyway that
we can see it fit to list any items that we may have
laying around for inner-list Sale-Trade-Buy.

I am aware that the already has a classified section,
but it seems to me that we can figure out a way in
which to help ourselves out in this matter.

I was thinking that we could either divide the parts
search into regional areas where any member of the
group (rregardlessof region) may buy from. This
division may be accomplish by a subject line saying
:Parts Sale/Wanted/trade in MD, Or North East.

I also know that it may seem redundant to some on the
list, But I would like this to work.
I wonder if there is an area of the Scirocco.org (or
one of the other members sites) where we could house
this list? Sorta like a bbulletinboard so that members
only(login required) of the org can do selling and
buying by regions and also at large.

Disclaimer: since I am responsible for this post I do
ask that productive ccommentarybe made. If it is not
then it will not work. I'm hoping for positive,
progressive thinking here. Something that I do believe
is a part of all our members.
