AUG or FF?

You would want the FF for messing around.  The AUG is TALL TALL TALL.  I put
one in a 79 Rabbit with a 1.8L.  I got on the freeway and noticed that it
ran very low rpm at cruising speeds.  Once I got to my exit I reached down
for the shifter to shift down and I was in FOURTH!!  So, I had another gear
to go and it still felt very low rpm.

I can buy a good AUG for $50.   Do you think I would prefer this to the FF

my 81? I know it's 100mm but he will throw in what I need for 90mm. I plan

doing a bit of auto-x and track events. Thinking the AUG might be better
suited in that regard. I currently drive a V8 so my gas mileage will improve
with
the Scirocco regardless. Curious to hear your opinions.
