It's the K-Bar not the Swaybar..



Of course! They're bent upwards all the time when some bonehead thinks that's a good place to jack
up the car!!!!
Both the K-bars on the 16V pair that I bought were used as jacking points.
Sore spot for me!
As Allyn pointed out the engine should be supported by the side mounts. I'd remove the front and
rear mounts and see where the engine sits and repair the side mounts if the engine isn't clear of
the k-bar and the rest of the chassis.
Then reinstall the rear mount, then the front. Everything should line up without having to push and
shove or jack the engine!
