help?!?!?! - wanted: strut nuts (and some bolts)

ok, heres the delema. after swinging by lowes, home depot (who was i 
kidding), and several auto parts places in town, i must fall back and beg 
upon the list. i even checked mcmaster-carr with no luck (something i 
thought was impossible).

i need strut nuts, a bunch of em, like 20 of em, and i need 8 strut bolts 
(a2 style preferred, the kind that dont have the keyway for the camber 
adjustment, but i'll fall back on what i can get if a1 style is all thats 
out there). other bolts are similar to these (a2 front subframe to body, for 
example).

the main reason i ask here is that many of you are likely to have these 
things lying about, especially if you have parted any roccos. here is the 
reason i must bring this request to the list:
- the nuts / bolts are m12 with a 1.5mm thread
- the standard m12 thread size is 1.75mm
- even places like mcmaster-carr only carry the 'standard' m12 thread size 
(1.75mm)
- SC is the worst place on earth to find any kind of vws, let alone vw parts 
(even nuts and bolts)

as much as i'd like to go with the 'standard' size, i fear that the wider 
spaced threads will be weaker. vw must have gone through the trouble of 
selecting an odd size for a reason. the fact that they use these odd thread 
sizes is high stress applications can only be for a very good reason.

anyhow, if anyone knows a supplier or some way i can get these nuts/bolts, 
please let me know.
