I thought about doing that before I got the new glass a couple of years ago... I am kind of stuck now, at least until this windshield goes away... You know, funny thing about all of this. Last time when I got the new windshield installed, the sucker cornered so much better. Now that this appears to be installed even better than last time, the cornering is greatly improved again. The tires are a lot less likely to squeal at all around 90 degree in-town high-speed turns (yes, I am careful)... To the point- I would bet if I went with the regular rubber seal, I would loose some of the reinforcement the windshield offers... What would the resident engineers say to that theory? :-)

Cheers,
  David
