Sporadic starts

I would check all of your connections at the coil, perhaps some are
loose/dirty? Also, I recommend checking the grounds of the ignition system,
there is occassionally one in the rain tray, and/or one on the engine at the
water outlet... Make sure all these connections are tight and clean, and see
if that makes any difference...

Although, electircal parts are known to either work or not work with
relation to temperature, in my experience it is rare for the coil to not work,
and then work... Other than that, the ignition switch can occassionally
cause this problem. The switching mechanism gets worn, and will indeed switch
for the starter, but it will not switch the ignition on... When trying to
start the car and it is slow to start, jiggle the key/or move the key so that
it puts strain on the switch at a different angle...

HTH, let me know...
