Dave - I know Cullen personally. While I will come to his defense from a
character standpoint, there's obviously no question his dialogue with
you
was suspect. He's a good guy from what I can tell and you may want to
consider cutting him some slack.

First, English is not his first language. He's from Estonia (my family
just
so happens to be too and that's how I came to know him).

Second, he is trying to get his fledgling business off the ground and
truly
is fielding 100's of emails a day. He used to work at ND.

I'd also like to say that Cullen is alright, and I know first hand, what
it can be like to do group buys on VWVortex. When you deal with somebody
that's really busy, there's a chance you'll get overlooked, or have an
order slip through their fingers. Especially with all the different
stuff he sells...

Unlike rubberman, Cullen isn't shady, and I believe he's giving it his
best shot, he's probably just overwhelmed.

As far as not remembering what I wrote yesterday, I'm guilty of that
too. ;)

I added "PLEASE include what I write when you reply, that way I'll know
what you are talking about.", to my signature, for that same reason.

With all that said, if you're going to start your own venture, you'd
better
know the difference between the terms "Mark 1" and "A1" (personally, it
irritates me that many in the Vortex crowd and beyond refer to A1
Rabbits,
GTis and Jettas as "mark 1's"...) not to mention keeping past
conversations
with potential customers straight.

Again, not trying to say you're wrong, just offering a little
perspective.

My $0.02 - JT

Same here... ;)

In Europe it's more common to use the Mk.1,2,3,4 terminology.

Although Rabbits and Jettas are really Mk.1's, most the confusion comes
in with the Mk.2 Golf/Jetta and Mk.2 Scirocco. The Mk.2 Scirocco, in my
opinion is not really a Mk.2, but a Scirocco 2...
