MK1 Window Rubber

I just came across this email, and I can't agree more.

I finally got this putz to stop sending me AIM's & emails about a year
ago.

IIRC, he was telling me that the current Mk.1 windshield gasket, that
Potterman had were crap, and that he's working on a much better Mk.1
windshield gasket, which I still need, btw.

The thing that pissed me off, was that he had recommended them to me a
few weeks before that.

I won't buy from a clown that sends me unsolicited emails and AIM's, and
changes his story to fit his agenda, especially when it's at the expense
of someone I know and trust.

Someone at last year's Cincy, from the Texas crew, told me that you can
use Cabriolet window scrapers by simply cutting them shorter.

Mark (mardak (don't know last name)) referred the list to him a month
back
or so. Mike Blain and I contacted him and he wasn't the friendliest guy.
On
top of that, he was trying to charge $20 for shipping two pieces of
window
rubber!

I was lucky enough to find a rear hatch gasket in good shape recently,
so I
won't have to take the gamble.

Ultimately, I guess someone should be the guinea pig and find out what
this
guy's about. Caveat emptor!

Anyone seen this or know this guy?
I tried to email him / her directly at skifree@scglobal.net
but it bounced.
