gas cap lock

my 84's got one,same with the 86 quantum syncro I had,
and even my lowly 90 fox has one-all matched to the
original key. 
sorry don't know how to fix it though, I do use it all
the time. I don't trust the kids in my apartment
building, the parking lot is their playground.
