shim kit on a turbo 16v

yea I know all about the bolt kits. I had one installed in my 4K tranny a
while ago and I speed shift the hell out of it and haven't broke a gear yet.
when I first put the turbo on I had it set at 4psi base and 10psi WOT. then
after some good research I found out that the guy I brought my injectors
from LIED and they wasn't #38lb so I was limited to 10. then later the
clutch started slipping at 10 so its set at 4 until I get my spare tranny
fixed. I have had good luck with trans. I dumped the clutch at 7000 RPm a
few times and did nothing to the tranny. Snapped a axle once but that's
about it. I'm getting a peliquon diff for the tranny. plus a guy at my job
has 3 trans as parts that I can use so I'm going to replace all the gears in
the 9A with taller gears. tranny should be done by April and the motor
should be done in march. I currently running a 2.5in exhaust and I realized
the cops don't like the sound of a dump pipe.

> Derrick, actually, there's more stress on third and fourth than there is
on 1st and 2nd. Don't think of it in terms of gear speed, think in terms of
load. Kevin Black has had trouble with third gear self-destructing on
several transmissions, but 1st and 2nd seem to survive, and he's pushing
around 400 to the wheels. Remember, the gears are ALWAYS meshed together,
so the only shock is the synchros locking the gears to the shaft (which I've
NEVER heard of breaking a gear from a shaft, although possible.) When
you're in third and fourth, there's much more load on the meshed gears.
