Just needs a little more back end under the rear side window and it's a 
Mk1 Scirocco replacement.

The closest replacement right now is made by VW sub outfit SEAT (Spain).

Other runner up is the Current but again not available in the US Audi A3 
(A0x 'something' based platform).
