Find a new dealer too.......sounds like (yet another) lack of respect for
our fine autos....."I can't find it/it's too old" is not a viable answer
from a dealership.

   Quite occassionally, this is true, but not always...  It would be a good
way to begin to confirm if they are the same, but if there are no bulbs in
the
car to begin with, I would not trust it...  I have had a few minor issues
with
this approach...
