aligning the exhaust

My midpipe is once again rattling like crazy on my rear axle beam, and
I'm wondering if I'm ever going to get it installed properly!

So far I have tried twisting then reclamping the midpipe relative to the
downpipe. I tried to get things as centered as possible, but for some
reason it still hits the body and makes a horrible rattling sound at
100-200 rpm over idle.

Anyone know of an easier way to fix this?
