rims question and vibrations



Sounds to me like you might have non-hubcentric wheels on a car that needs
hubcentric wheels. You see, on 'dubs the weight of the car doesn't go on
the wheel bolts.. it rides on the hub, which fits snugly inside the wheel
(unless its a non-hubcentric wheel). There's a good chance your wheels
aren't hubcentric, and thus need a spacer (usually colored plastic) which
should be available from your local tire shop, in order to fit right.

Without a spacer, your car may or may not vibrate like crazy (particularly
at highway speeds) behaving as if the wheels were not balanced.

I'm sure other people know more about this than me.. so if I get this
wrong gimme a break ;)
