If you can cut metal, bend metal, weld metal, do some pretty intense automotive disassembly and
assembly, figure out your wiring enough to install an aftermarket engine management system, maybe
even electrically assemble that (and maybe a WB-O2 also), and finally figure out the mulitplicity of
little shit that will surely spring up, then, yeah, Kirsten's site will eventually have a hell of a
lot of helpful information that could potentially make your conversion a lot easier than what we had
to do.

If you think you can do all the above stuff and just need somebody to ocassionally point, laugh and
suggest, then I'd be glad to drink your beer!

Realistically, Kirsten's car is a pretty high dollar conversion. Everybody in Washington state seems
to need a high dollar turbo installation!
Forget that crap!
My nephew's junkyard turbo installation on a crummy 8V JH is one hell of a lot of fun. And his total
turbo installation cost, including Peloquin, is under $2500.
Set a goal of what you want your car to be, then only do modifications that are in line with that
goal. i.e don't buy a hotshit NA downpipe if you're going to be installing a turbo!
Putting a small turbo on your car with a decent exhaust system, intercooler and fuel system could be
done for a tenth of the effort put into Kirsten's car and still net you a fast reliable car that
will let you play with most of the cars on the street.

My schedule is like this:
1. Try to produce engine mounts to install 02J trannies in A1 chassis. If anybody's interested, I'm
probably going to do this. That will probably take up most of January to get going and produce the
number of sets that I think can be sold right now.
2. Proably build another tranny for the GRM Scirocco guys.
3. Maybe add MS & S to my nephew's turbo Scirocco
4. And last of all, I'm going to install a turbo on my 84. It's been three years since I bought the
turbo! It's not on yet! NOTHING is going to get in the way after the three above items!
