Why is my throttle returning very slow.

Before lubing, use "Brakleen" aerosol and clean the pivots and shafts while
working the linkage back and forth. Spray enough so the crap is dripping
off. Let dry. Then use some light oil to lube.
Good Luck.

Subject: Why is my throttle returning very slow.

My throttle is not returning back to its home postion as quick as it
should. This is making for some interesting driving as when
accelerating and I push on the clutch the car continues to rev like
keeping your foot on the pedal before I can shift into the next gear.
It's not the cable that is binding. If I turn the throttle by hand it
retruns very slowly back to its home position with plenty of slack in
the cable. Well close to its home position. What can I do to fix
this?
