faulty t-stat, now I just wish it wasn't such a bee-och to replace! I replaced 
one in my dad's Audi 90 yesterday in about 25 minutes, the last time I did one 
on a vw with a/c and p/s it took about 4 hours of knuckle busting and cussing. 
Oh well, thats why we love 'em.  p.s., the rocco is hating winter all bundled
