It wouldn't surprise me at all. While I don't VW is tapping into SCCA's database, if they find out about racing, the warranty will be void. Evos and STIs have it worse. You can't do ANYTHING to the car or the entire warranty will be void. No body kit, no messing with the boost, not even a turbo timer.
