Nothing wrong with your choice for solid lifter. It's got a higher rpm
potential than the hydro head. The only drawback is that you have to
periodically check your clearances (not a big deal at all...)

There are other options, but the easiest by far is to source one from a 16v
passat automatic - there's lots of them in the bone yards... The Weber "Big
Throat" TB has a D-shaft that you could mount a TPS on with a little work.

Any digifant 1 fuel rail will work fine. If you have the later solid lifter
head (air shrouded) the mounting holes for the digi 1 fuel rail are already
there... At least around here Corrado stuff is harder to find than a digi
setup out of an A2 Jetta or Golf. The Corrado fuel injectors are bigger,
but do you really want to use 10+ year old injectors? Buy a new set that's
properly sized for your setup. (If you're going to run it N/A for a while
before you add your turbo, the injectors from the digi Jetta/Golf will work
fine - buy new ones for your turbo setup...)

HTH,

Mark - deciding whether or not to wait for UltraMegaSquirt...
