Finally running

>>I could go on.
>>Cathy calls her car the Headache, I call this car the Nightmare!

Wanna play? Lets go... long block, water pump, alternator, starter, 4
rotors, 2 calipers, (now up to 3), new exhaust front to back, one axle,
seems like every single rubber part on the car ( that's lines, tires, seals,
gaskets, belts etc, etc), four struts/springs, fuel lines, fuel pump,
accumulator, rebuilt tranny (that was optional), axle seals , motor mounts
(four, and a few were done twice), headlights, taillights, bumpers, master
cylinder, three clutches, a ton of sensor type things, and of course ground
straps, strut bearings, tie rod ends, I could go on (and on and on). Much of
it was for upgrades, but you get the idea. Nobody bought anything for my
baby in her first 14 years. I didn't do some of it myself, but learned a lot
on what I did do. There is very little I haven't had off or seen the innards
of.

BUT, the headache name does not come from that aspect at all, it's for the
aura of screwups surrounding the car. Like when I E-tested three times to
pass, went to the licence bureau and had to get the car tested a fourth time
because they got the VIN wrong. And the Toyota engine the junkyard
delivered, that sort of thing. I have never owned a car like that, wierdness
follows it.

>>It's still pathetic compared to my 84 but it's roadworthy and I'm going to
>>drive the wee out of it.

It still isn't right then, when they are, you'll be grinning from ear to ear
when you drive it...

(Denny just came back with her, his first words? It's a BAD car...)

Cathy

PS, Word up? Don't ever let them know you're happy with them, they'll break
just to spite you.
