The UMS is pending. There's just a bunch of chatter on the Megasquirt Yahoo
group, no specific site yet.
UMS, apparently, will consist of fuel control, ignition control and built in
WB-O2 controller for the Bosch LSU4. I haven't seen anything about
additional capabilities, such as bigger VE maps, beyond the regular MS or
the various derivatives such as Megaspark or MegasparkEDIS.
FYI, there were several ignition controllers that had been envisioned by the
original MS guys, Bowling and Grippo. But, alot of people jumped in with all
the derivatives and that kind off changed the primary focus. So, providing a
basic ignition controller was no longer imperative.
Megajolt was intended to be the full on Ion sensing ignition, but it looks
like this is taking a back seat while UMS (specifically, the WB-O2 portion)
is developed. So, it looks like that is not intended to be part of the UMS.
Chatter has it that UMS will increase in cost only marginally over the MS.
Course if you want UMS you have to pitch for the WB sensor which is ~$40.
Surface mount components, compact size!

It's cool, but for a NA application MS, KS ignition and my poor old WB-O2
will keep me happy.
