A friend of mine phoned, he has changed the plugs on a 99 Cabrio and now has
a CEL. It had run oddly at first, there was some arcing from the spark plug
boot to the block which has now been corrected, but the code persists. How
does he go about resetting the code, the car runs fine but the light is
annoying. Does it have to go to the dealer/someone with VAGCOM to be reset?
