The stupid Bentley says you remove the alternator without taking off the A/C. I need to replace the water-pump of the Cali.
 
THE OLD-STYLE A/C SETUP IS  __THE WORST__ design in terms of accessibility I have ever seen!
 
The problem is the top alternator mouting bolt - I can get to it with a large 6mm allen key, but I can't get enough torque to break it loose. There is such little space in there I having a hard time seeing how it can be done without taking the A/C out.
 
Anyone with some experience with this?
