Well, see, this has been my point. Not just any 16V will have its way with
any 8V.
My admittedly heavily modified (although still very streetable) 2.0 8V makes
the same power as Cathy's somewhat modified 16V.
For the same level of tune there is no doubt a 16V will make more power.
Just don't go thinking that because you have a 16V or even a 2.0 16V you're
going to kick sand in the face of every 8V you run across.
 The 16V guys also need to make some effort beyond chanting:
"16V,16V,16V........"
