Buying a dismantled block and head - what contents are critical?

TT sells bigger valves now but they used to make a point of the reliability
of the stock valves. My TT head was ported back in 98 and has stock valves
although they are backcut. They didn't offer a bigger valve option back
then.
CIS hydro head internals should fit as far as I can tell from ETKA.
Make sure you get the 3A distributor for when you add a KS ignition and get
all the crap on the front of the block (not water pump and oil filter mount,
but the other stuff) , the ventilation holes are different.
