Mk2 tail lights - cleaning the inside - do they come apart?

the lenses are glued to the black frame, I dont know many people that where
able to take rear lenses out, I clean mine once a year (yeah just say it I
am anal) by using soap and a hose, then after rinsing it nice and good, I
push  blob of dry scott towel in it and turn it inside the lens.. let finish
drying under the sun...

Just wondering if the two halves of the taillight assembly come apart
without destroying it (specifically a euro/black striped assembly - if
it's any different)
