Air fuel gauge

Dakota Digital is still a narrow band sensor. The display is pretty trick
but it doesn't tell you much beyond whether you're rich or lean.
Wide band O2 is getting more and more affordable. Lots of solutions for the
NTK L1H1 sensor but the sensor itself is getting pretty expensive.
There are several solutions coming out for the Bosch LSU4 sensor (which is
only ~$40) for $200-$400 total and a wideband really tells you what's going
on.

little bars of light that go about 3/4th of the way around the dial. First 5
are lean, 2nd 5 are good, 3rd 5 is rich. When you step on it it goes full
rich, when you let off the gas it goes full lean and when you're just
coast/cruising at a steady speed it displays stoich (bounces from just lean
to just rich). That's how it works no matter what rpm or gear or whatever.
At least, that's how it does in my car. It was like $30 so I'm sure it has a
little error margin. If you're looking for real accurate/expensive/purdy,
try www.dakotadigital.com.
