[OT] Question about mkIV Jetta headlights....

she wants the blue-tinted lights.


I was afraid of that melting issue, therefore, I wanted to ask if there's
any kind of 3rd party bracket or any other solution that will help me.

I am installing some kind of blue light bulb in there. The 'am I going to do
it' question is already answered. I just need to know if anyone's worked
around the problem....

Working at a dealership, we have seen many of these melt the wiring/plug for
the headlight itself...  I am not sure why, but apparently they draw more
current than the lights are desgined for...  I would stay away from them,
esp
since it is more of a fashion thing rather than a benefit to visibility...
