Update on the Son of Crankshaft Bolt Funnnn!!!!



Now that you mentioned that unGodly torque spec for tightening, how does one
actually achieve that 175 ft/lb b*tch? Is it just one of those things that
you'd just have to wait to get the rest of the engine/transaxle in and apply
the brakes? I can't imagine you'd be able to generate that much resistance
by locking up the pressure plate somehow...

Secondly, are the different specs due to the bolt type or the crank thread
type? I would suspect the later and would do whatever I could to use it if I
had the choice!  :)
