Update on the Son of Crankshaft Bolt Funnnn!!!!

Yeah, there is something holding that bolt on. Could be
some thread lock.  Heat should loosen that.  If it's rust,
then I'd hit the bolt with some *good* rust buster (not
WD-40, but Kroil or PB Blaster) let it sit a day, hit it
again and let it sit a few more days.  If that doesn't
work, then an impact wrench should work.  If you
don't have an air compressor, and can't rent or borrow
one, get an electrical impact wrench.  A no-name
should be under $100 locally, or you can get one real
cheap on the Internet.  Harbor Freight (usually not the
best quality, but good for infrequent home use, has one
for $50 --

You can even get them cordless, which is great for
removing lug nuts on the side of the road, or at a
track day.
