Jeeze, $17K for a AWD Golf?  For that kind of money,
I'd rather pick up a '90 Audi V8 (~$5K), toss on a couple 
of turbos or supercharger (~$5K), redo the suspension
(another $5K), and have something really special.  It would
be a sleeper.
