BEAT THIS! i found a deal!
I bought a 87 16v with euro bumpers, lowered (Bilsteins/Nuespeed), Race
header, TT exhaust, slotted rotors, perfect interior, aftermarket sway bars,
stress bars, short shift kit, etc. etc. for $100. It was parked in a
residential area and you could tell it hadn't moved for a while and had been
hit in the left front but not too badly. Found the owner, gave him $100 and
drove it home (15 minutes). It drove fairly decent but after I started
parting it I felt that I should just replace the fender until I found that
it had been wrecked on the other side also and had been patched badly (tore
through the wheel well!!). Still, good deal!

I found an 82 rocco for $100!!! Along with a place to stay and take a break
and meet at least one more dubber before we get back into Iowa!! An
affordable road trip for 3 college students!!! And I get a car out of the
deal!!
