I have a 1998 A4 1.8T with Quattro.
It's really been trouble free. Now that it has H & R's and bilsteins with A8
brakes and 17" wheels it's almost as much fun to drive as the Scirocco.
Well, not as much fun as my 84, more fun than my virtually stock 87.
Quattro is simply awesome in slippery conditions!
Comfortable, quiet, good looking and sporty. It's the perfect "mature"
companion to the Scirocco.

Subject: OT: A4 opinions welcome

I am thinking about getting a car for winter/daily driver duties. The
Slegato is getting tired (anybody wants one?).

My preference goes to AWD, leather seats and power windows (Forest Gump
syndrome here). More specifically, I am looking at Audi A4s.

Any experiences, opinions?

V6 or 1.8T?

I drive around 5000 kms a year.

Thanks for any answers.
