Headgasket compatability?

Anson's '87 16V (aka Victor) finally blew it's headgasket. Anson wants to put a steel gasket on,
but we're worried that the ABA gasket has too big a bore. Will another off-the-shelf steel gasket
work on a stock 1.8L 16V?
