mother'f'in vibrations..........

Josh,

 Here's a weird thought for ya...
rescently my mk2 was suffering from this same type of vibe...
only on highway above 65ish.  I was *sure* that the gold bb's
were to blame since they do have some bends in them.  Took them
to several shops to have balanced and each time the guys said
the wheels balanced fine... but alas, same problem persisted. :(

I was going to take the wheels to another shop to have repaired
of all bends/dings, etc... I swapped them onto my mk1 just for
fun and to transport them home... anyhow, to my amazement the
same wheels on the mk1 were smooth as glass on the way home!
Now is that crazy or what!?

Oh yeah... the real kicker... I threw my race wheels on the mk2
before doing all this balancing to the BBS wheels and the mk2
drove *perfectly* on the highway!

So... my suggestion... just temporarily throw on a different set
of wheels and see what happens.
