Help with upper stress bar install

[marc_scirocco at sympatico.ca (Marc Scirocco Quebec)]

The upper strut bearing nuts that are holdind the front upper stress bars
are pressed on the strut bearings. Just punch the old broken one, and
reinstall a new one. Easy fix.

The GTI one should fit.  Take the stress/preload off the suspension by
jacking the two front wheels off the ground, and try again.  Any bolt, nut
or screw you break should be drilled out if needed and replaced.
