performance question



Yeah I've done the mixture adjust thing and have that pretty well sorted. I 
guess my question is one that can't really be answered without trying 
different setups, which I was hoping someone from the list had done. I know 
I can get more airflow with a bigger throttle body, but has anyone achieved 
any gains by just using the fuel distributor from another model or year? 
I've seen regular CIS fuel distributors with different size air plates, for 
example. Would using a different one help at the top end? Same question 
with the injectors. Do the air shrouded injectors (which this engine had 
originally) have better flow at the top end?
I'm assuming someone with these 1.8L 8V motors has changed their whole 
fuel/ignition management system over to that of a later CIS-E car. What was 
the result?
