Could it be that with the low impedance unit that the wires are =
undersize? To accommodate a high output head unit they might have to be =
changed to a larger (smaller number) gauge?

I don't really know the deal. I talked to my friend and he's =
freakin becuase a couple people and 3 stereo install guys told him that =
he'd have to add or replace all the wires. I, having never heard of such =
a thing and in all likelyhood being the one to instll it would like to =
know what I'm in for.
The install guys have all given him prices like 200.00.
You may ask, why replace a Bose? Well, it doesn't work. =20
