8v vs 16v eh! RE: 16v body kit questions

Larry, they don't actually start racing until the 26 second mark. At that
point the Civic pulls slightly on the Viper and then the Viper gains just a
few feet before they slow down. It is a complete draw for the real part of
the duel. The Viper driver gives the Civic guy lots of respect calling his
car a "nasty bitch" and saying, "god damn... that is one bad motherf*cker".
:^) He also discusses only being able to beat him off the line where his
traction advantage gives him the edge. :^) -great video!

I could only download the first 23 seconds of the Cheesefrogg run, but it
was quite obvious that the Viper was toying with the ricer. After all, in
23 seconds the Viper could have run the quarter mile. Twice.
Tell me what happened after the 23 second mark???

I'm not arguing 8V v. 16V I'm arguing stock v. modified... Chesefrog or
whoever that is did a great job running a viper but he didn't exactly have
stock civic. Based on this heavily modified civic it would not be fair to
say that 'civic's can keep up with vipers'... that's my point.

OH and why not? You guys do start OUT with 33 extra HP after all???
Depends on how modded the 8v was...that we don't know. I mean,
depending on the mods, it *might* have been only making similar HP numbers
to a stock 16v.
