OT: WTC, anatomy of the collapse

i know most of us on the list were touched by the events of 9/11, and i also
know that most listers are engineering oriented type people. i came across
this video and figured listers would be interested. very good video, plenty
of cool computer generated stuff showing exactly what happened. also goes
into detail on construction and other stuff.

i had to compress this with divx 5, using about every bell and whistle in
existentce, and managed to retain pretty good quality while crunching a 5
gig dvd movie down to 160 meg. 1/30th of the original. gotta love current
video compression technology.

note: this installs both the codec and player, but use of the player isnt
necessary as windows media player can play it using the installed codec.

final note: its only gonna be up there for this week. its a big file and i
had to temp. remove some other stuff to provide it.
