WTF? boost does distributor damage...



I welded a bead around the ends of each pipe, and then grinded down the
welds. I borrowed a buddy of mine's bead roller, but it was intended to
be used with flat sheets rather than piping so I couldn't use it.   This
setup has held 15+ psi even with regular hose clamps, I think I've had
one blow off once.

You won't even need a bead all the way around if you opt for the
expensive t-bolt clamps.  I've heard of people having good luck with
just a few dots around the ends of the pipes.
