What to use as side markers?

i GOT A SET of original factory ones from Potter. I hooked mine up as
running lights and they blink too when i put on my signal opposit of the
regular signal. I can't remember how I did it as it was done a while ago
when the haze was pretty thick. I do remember it was pretty easy to do.
There is a link on someone's website that is a listmember on how to do it,
agian I don't remember it. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
