[Warning to all you planning on going to Cincy]

Great thanks! I'll park the meatball around the block so no one thinks you're the owner. Woah, 16hrs? Man, I better buy a few more coffee thermoses and maybe one of those massaging seat cover things. 80-85mph will be like a Sunday drive for the meatball, all sounds good to me! As I am horrible with directions, have no idea where anyone lives in relation to anything else and am pretty crappy with remembering highway names, just let me know a final plan and I'll be good to go.

As for St Louis, probably in the 16 hour range from my house...I don't take many risks (80-85 mph the whole way), with stops and such, 16-17 hours is probably about right. I figure we leave here about 6-7am to try and avoid the rush hour denver traffic....fortunately from my place, getting outta the denver area and onto I-70 is pretty quick and painless.

Now, I don't know if Scott Rose is still around, but we met up at his place last year in St. Louis....I have no idea if that would be the plan for this year or not. We also stopped and met Mike VanA in MO for a quick break and chat...(we think thats where Patrick passed us last year). We were also supposed to give Josh Westhoven a ring, but were behind shedule and pushed on.

So Patrick, do you have a place in mind along I-70 for our caravans to meet?

Sounds like a good plan. Depending on just how early 'early Thursday mon departure' is, might I be able to crash at your place Wed morning? About how many hrs is St. Louis? And about my meatball, if my poor rocc can cruise at 90mph on the highway without a problem, I don't have any fear of this car being able to do the same. Don't worry, I won't be holding anyone back. And if I'm in the middle of the pack, it's only because I'm pretty bad with directions and don't want to get lost. (And don't worry, I know the joking's just in fun. I fully expect it being on a scirocco list without a scirocco)

As for any Kias in the caravan...i don't know of any. But sounds like a Swedish Meatball of a Yugo will be with us. I think, with the turbo on there, it'll manage highway speeds....but not much else *grin*.

I will be coming in a Scirocco this year.

(Dan, we are just giving ya shit buddy. A Turbo Saab is cool, at least its european....last year I had to drive my fiancees Dodge Neon R/T cause I had no VWs that could make the trip!)
